Providence City FC have released their 2020 “Good Night Lights” Home shirt, by Inaria.
The Ocean State Soccer League side, based in Rhode Island, have released the striking shirt as a tribute to the “Good Night Lights” tradition, started by cartoonist Steve Brosnihan, of Providence’s people - including businesses - flashing lights to wish the children of Hasbro Children’s Hospital a good night - with many of the children reciprocating with torches.
Sponsored by local business Hot Club and Soiree Salon, the ecru shirt is dotted with line drawing references to the club’s culture and that of Providence, including a skull and crossbones “Rogues” logo with crossed torches instead of bones.
Calling all shirt collectors: FootballShirtCollector.com is coming soon! We’re launching a new community site created especially for shirt collectors. It’s a dedicated space to connect with others, create your profile, and join a growing network of fellow football shirt collectors.
The crest is in black and white and the shirt is likely to be worn with black shorts and socks.
