Unveiled in recent days and worn in last Friday’s Dutch Eredivisie win over FC Emmen, this is the new RKC Waalwijk “Carnaval” shirt.
Despite the lack of a carnival this year - no prizes for guessing the reason for its absence - the club is using the shirt to raise funds, in association with Fonds Gehandicaptensport, to help with the construction of a new stand for the disabled at the Mandemakers Stadion.
The shirt has a black base with confetti patterning and a tricolour sash and side-of-torso stripes of blue, yellow and red - Waalwijk Carnaval colours - and a matching conversion of the crest, complete with Covid-masked Lion. The special design was worn complete with partner branding
