Japanese J1 League side Sanfrecce Hiroshima have unveiled a new shirt in the change colours of local baseball side Hiroshima Toyo Carp.
With the Carp returning the favour and announcing a jersey in the infamous purple of Sanfrecce, the Viola’s new “Hiroshima Pride” shirt by Nike - intended to signify local solidarity in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic’s impact - is in red with a faux placket created with two thin navy stripes and the “EDION” branding styled like a baseball legend.
The crest is in navy and white, as are the Nike Swoosh chest logo and the number printing, and further branding is in white to contrast.

The neck is in navy with a matching insert on the reverse and the shirt will be worn with white shorts and red socks in the 3rd July match against Sagan Tosu.
