Shimizu S-Pulse of the Japanese J-League have released a 2020 third kit - or “Limited [edition] Uniform” - with partner Puma, to be worn in selected matches in the remainder of this year.
The primarily navy, or “deep sea blue”, shirt - part of the German manufacturer’s “Crafted from Culture” range - features the club’s famous globe sublimation print, but this time it is surrounded by a hawk wing pattern to nod to former Japanese ruler Tokugawa Ieyasu’s love of falconry with the birds.
Trim on the shirt is in orange - matching the shorts and socks - and Puma logos appear in tertiary colour white, along with the shirt names and numbers, with the crest echoing the tricolour effect. The plethora of sponsorship logos, including that of primary sponsor Suzuyo, appear in their own respective liveries.
