AIK Fotboll, of Sweden’s Allsvenskan, have revealed their new “Royal Edition” shirt.
The 2022 special edition release is officially in a deep tone of “Royal Blue”, with golden detailing including manufacturer Nike’s rarely seen throwback logo, which has a wordmark atop the Swoosh applied tonally.
The pre-season release has an intricate crest featuring both gold and yellow - a combination repeated in trim - overlaid, along with the “AIK” initialism writ large, on a base which depicts the Stockholm home.
With proceeds from sales going to the youth-focussed Stadium Sports Camp non-profit, the Vaporknit III-structured shirt will be available in the form of 131 units, nodding to AIK’s years in existence since their 1891 foundation.
