This is the new Cruz Azul Special Edition shirt.
The design by Joma, with a jacquard pattern consisting of a repetition of the number 9, is in sky blue with contrast collar and cuffs.
The inclusion of the number 9 so prominently is in order to celebrate La Máquina’s 2021 “Guardianes” victory - in effect, the club’s ninth Mexican Primera División title.
Joma’s logos also contrast in white, while the club crest appears in full colour and topped with a star.
