World-famous Brazilian side and current national champions Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have unveiled a 2021 “Pride” shirt.
The adidas design, in patterned, tonal purple, is heavily embellished with rainbow (flag) detailing to honour the LGBTQIA+ movement - with even the club partners allowing the fill of their branding to be customised.
The German manufacturer’s hallmarks - the famous “Performance” logo and the striping on the shoulders - as well as Flamengo’s monogram crest are in red, on a shirt several examples of which have been further decorated by artists to be exhibited and then sold to raise money for charity.
