Tokyo Verdy 2022 Athleta Home Kit

This is the new Tokyo Verdy Home shirt by Athleta.

On the whole a green design - unsurprisingly - embellished with gold, the release also boasts a tonal trunk pattern (replicated on the stylised-raglan sleeves with the precious-metal hue used for contrast).

The ultra-modern crest is in gold and white and topped with two commemorative stars - celebrating the Japanese J2 League side’s 25 national titles - and the aforementioned sublimation print suggests the V of Verdy and indeed the penchant the club has for “victory”.

All partners see their branding contrasting in white, as is the case with player personalisation, and the kit is completed with green shorts and socks.
