This is the new Joma Away shirt for famous Italian Serie A side Torino FC.
Both providing a change design for match action and celebrating a friendship, the largely white shirt’s focal point is the diagonal sash in Torino’s iconic garnet.
But the colourway is not the only iconic quality, with the sash being included to reference the friendship the club has with Argentine giants River Plate, forged in 1949 by River’s gestures after the Superga tragedy.
The River look is augmented with repeated detailing referring to the relationship between the two institutions, while the dual-colour theme is maintained in the partner logos and even the crest is colour-converted.
Officially, the Away kit has garnet shorts, but it may well transpire that the shirt will more often be worn as part of a nominally all-white outfit.
