Umbro has revealed the Republic of Ireland Away Kit.

The 2022 Away kit incorporates a modern Orange Popsicle jersey with Black spray paint effect sleeves with a Bosphoris Green piping trim.

The kit has been engineered using Polyester Lightweight Micro-Eyelet fabric with a 1x1 Rib. It also features a partly ribbed Orange Popsicle round neck collar with a V insert while the unique sleeve graphic gives a modern graduated effect. The Black shorts and Orange Popsicle socks complete the look.

The new kit will be worn for the first time by the Senior Men’s team away to Luxembourg in Ireland’s last game in Group A of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers on November 14th.

I think if you're going to do a spray paint effect why not do that all over the bottom of the jersey then reveal the orange on top? The planeness of it and the green stripes on the sleeve give it a training top feel, where as if they did their Umbro sleeve trim similar to the way they have it on the Shamrock Rovers away this could have been a gem. I like that they tried bringing back the orange however..

It makes an impact that's for sure. The colours are very eye-catching and I'm sure on the pitch it will be a standout. The shirt is actually missing an element or two to bring it together perfectly- it's a good start though.

a decent looking template - I like it, but it's a shame the orange is so pale and
not as strong as it is on the Irish flag.
maybe swap the black for white then it would be perfect.

Includes the North with the Orange, and our new culture in more African-born players with the black on the sleeves. I love it. Bravo for inclusivity

You really think that black smudge on the sleeves were added to signify inclusivity?? Wow. You're reaching.

Like the change to orange, but the design could've been so much better
