The Supporters Association of KSK Beveren Football Club which is currently playing in the Belgian Second Division, have organized many fund-raising events to save their club from bankruptcy. One of these events is an online-auction on ebay where already more than 100 unique items where sold. As they enter the last weeks of the auction, there are still some very interesting match worn shirts which will be offered.

Starting from yesterday, you'll find a legendary match worn shirt of Lothar Matthäus with Bayern Munchen of the season 1984-85 on the auction !

Also up for auction a Belgium World Cup 86 match worn shirt

In the following days and weeks, the following match worn shirts will be listed on their ebay-page:

- Match worn shirt of legendary goalkeeper Hans Van Breukelen of Holland (national team) from 1985

- Match worn shirt of legendary goalkeeper Jean-Marie Pfaff of Belgium, worn in World Cup 86 in Mexico where Belgium reached the semi-finals (Pfaff was crowned as "World Best Goalkeeper" after this World Cup)

- Match worn shirt of Erwin Lemmens of Olympiakos Pireaus

The Belgium National team achieved their best-ever World Cup run in 1986 when they placed fourth under command of players like Jan Ceulemans, Eric Gerets and Jean-Marie Pfaff.

Belgium surprisingly won against favourites Soviet-Union with stars such as Igor Belanov and Rinat Dasayev (3-4) after extra time. Belgium also beat Spain with penalties, but they lost to eventual champions Argentina in the semifinal (0-2). In the third-place match Belgium lost to France (2-4) after extra time. Captain and midfielder Jan Ceulemans was the first Belgian player to be selected in the All-Star Team of a World Cup.


An Unique opportunity to obtain a legendary shirt of Bayern Munchen. This shirt (nr 8) was worn by Lothar Mattaus in the season 84-85. FC Bayern ended up winning the Bundesliga in that season. Brand is Adidas - Size Large - Short sleeves - shirt-sponsor is Commodore- shirt with number 8.

Lothar Matthäus played for FC Bayern Munchen from 1984 to 1988 (and from 1992 to 2000), and would win the Bundesliga three times (1985, 86, 87) and one DFB-Bokal (1986) in this first period with Bayern. In this period, he would play alongside the legendary Belgian goalkeeper Jean-Marie Pfaff (former KSK-Beveren - player).
