HSV together with their kit manufacturer Adidas, presented the 2008/09 Euro away kit.

The black and blue away kit was unveiled a few weeks ago on a boat at Hamburg harbour. New head coach Martin Jol and the players Ivica Olic and Jerome Boateng gave away 30 of the new shirts to passengers aboard the ship.


Trabzonspor and Nike launched 5 new football kits for the 08/09 season. Trabzonspor is the only club outside Istanbul to have won the Turkish title, earning a name as one of the "Big Four" alongside Galatasaray SK, Fenerbahçe SK, Beşiktaş J.K.

Trabzonspor's nicknames are the "Burgundy Blues" and the "Black Sea storm".


The new kits for the 08-09 season have been revealed by Adidas and Fenerbahce with some elegant and modern designs on show, which took place at Fenerbahce Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium.

A new yellow-white striped away shirt, a catchy white shirt and a brand new yellow neon shirt are in the collection to add to the new striped home design, the legendary shirt synonymous with Fenerbahce.


Carlisle United unveiled the new away and 3rd kits made by Le Coq Sportif for the 08/09 season

The new away kit is the black strip worn by Peter Murphy and Evan Horwood. The shirt, shorts and socks will be on general sale in the Blues Store and BS2 from 10.30am on Saturday 26 July.

The new white 08/09 third strip, worn by Danny Graham, will go on sale in November.


Ajax and Adidas presented the new Ajax 08/09  away kit today. The two-toned blue shirt with white accents also has the Ajax logo 'on the heart'.

New head sponsor AEGON is horizontally across the chest. The new Ajax away kit will first be woorn in the LG Amsterdam Tournament match against Arsenal FC, on Friday 8 August in the Amsterdam ArenA.


Queens Park Rangers unveiled the new 08/09 away kit made by Lotto.

The away strip, which will be worn by the R's First Team for the upcoming pre-season friendlies at Falkirk and Kilmarnock, completes the brand-new collection of Lotto Sport Italia kit, following the recent unveiling of the home and third strips.

It has proved to be an instant hit with the QPR players. Martin Rowlands said. "Once again, Lotto have done a fantastic job with this strip.

"It looks really modern, and is a great design.

"I am sure everyone will agree that the presence of Gulf Air as our main shirt sponsor adds real class to it.

"Hopefully it will prove to be a successful kit for the Club.

"All the players will be working very hard throughout the up-coming season to try and make sure that's the case."

Pictured modelling the shirt is QPR Ladies midfielder Hannah Curnow, who is also impressed with the design.

"It's really different to anything we've had before, and I think it looks brilliant," she said.

"I'm a big fan of the new crest, and I like the way it is right at the centre of the shirt."



West Brom Albion confirm discussions regarding a new club sponsor are continuing with interested parties.

While the negotiations are ongoing, the club is launching its new kits to ensure they go on sale before the Barclays Premier League season gets underway on August 16. Initially, the club will unveil and sell shirts without a sponsors' logo.

They will go on sale from August 1 without a sponsors’ name. Fans buying the ‘blank’ shirts were today promised a sponsors’ logo would be ‘welded’ to the shirts free at a later date. 

The home kit will go on sale in Baggies club shops on August 1. The away kit, which is yellow and black, will be available a week later on August 8. 

Talks have taken place with Carlsberg, Ladbrokes and Birmingham-based van-maker LDV.


The new Sparta Prague home and away kits for the 2008/2009 season were presented at a press conference by representatives of Nike along with Patrikem Berger and Michael Kadlecem.

For the away kit a big change occurred, Sparta will play the away games in yellow, a colour that symbolizes victory.

Sparta Prague works with Nike for the twelfth year. "Cooperation with Nike in the long term works perfectly, players and coaches are actively involved in the selection of colours and materials.


Oxford United unveiled the new home kit for 2008/2009 season.The Carlotti designed home kit with blue flashings is made of breathable material and was launched by Miss Oxford Lyndsay Fayle.

Prices are £18.99 for infant sizes, £29.99 for Juniors and £39 for adults
