Liga de Quito 2010 umbro home shirt

Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito— often referred to as Liga de Quito unveiled the new 2010 Home football shirt made by Umbro.

Historically, Liga's badge consisted of a large red block-letter "U". In the 1990s, the team adopted the current badge, a white "U" superimposed on an inverted triangle. The colours of the triangle were the deep red and blue of the flag of the city of Quito.

Throughout most of the decade and into the 2000s, the crest carried several blue stars above it representing Liga's league championships. After being removed from the jersey for a period of time, the blue stars were replaced by a single yellow star atop the badge following the Copa Libertadores win in 2008. Two more stars were added to commemorate the 2009 Recopa Sudamericana and Copa Sudamericana titles.

Universidad de San Martin 2010 umbro kits

Universidad de San Martín unveiled the new “Tailored” 2010 home and away kits made by Umbro.

The new Umbro shirts for Los Santos (The Saints) have mesh panels on the sides that allows controlled sweating and the air flow to come in and help cool the body areas that produce most heat.

An authenticity tag is embroidered on the bottom of the shirts and highlights the details of ventilation and certifies that the garment is genuine.

Velez Sarsfield 2010 penalty kits

Vélez Sarsfield  unveiled the new 2010 Home and Away Kits made by Penalty.

Vélez foundation dates back to 1910. It was on a rainy January 1 when three men sheltered from a summer storm in Vélez Sársfield Railway Station (nowadays Floresta station), from the Buenos Aires Western Railway. The three men were Julio Guglielmone, Martin Portillo and Nicolas Martín Moreno. They decided to create a new football club with the name and planned to join a local league.

On May 14, 1914, owing to the great amount of Italian immigrants who were members of the club, the kit was changed again. The new colours adopted were green, red and white, the colours of the Italian flag. From then on the club played in green, red and white stripes.

The DFB officially unveiled the new Germany 10/12 Away Kit made by Adidas, which will be available through the FSC Shop.

The adidas designers got their inspiration for the black shirt from the first unofficial international match, known as "Ur-match". On 12 December 1898 - before the founding of the DFB, a German team played in Paris against the White Rovers Club.

The Germans won this game 7:0 wearing a black shirt. The Emperor was informed of the triumph by telegram.

Portuguesa 2010 penalty third kit

Portuguesa officially launched the new 2010 third football shirt made by Penalty at the loja Centauro do Shopping Center Norte. Associação Portuguesa de Desportos is a Brazilian football Club from São Paulo, founded on August 14, 1920 by the Portuguese population of the city.

On the chest the shirt shows the Cross of Avis. The Cross of Avis represents the Portuguese independence from the Castile Kingdom, which happened after the Battle of Aljubarrota, on August 14, 1385.

Werder 2010 limited edition 111th anniversary kit

Werder Bremen unveiled their new 2010 limited edition 111th anniversary football shirt made by Nike.

For the Bundesliga home match against Hertha Berlin on Friday, 5 February 2010 at 8:30 p.m., Bremen players will be wearing the "111 years" jerseys designed exclusively by Nike. The green jersey includes an elegant gold rimming and the logo of the main sponsor TARGOBANK is displayed on the chest.

Club Universitario 2010 umbro football kits

Club Universitario de Deportes, also known as Universitario unveiled the new 2010 ' Tailored ' home and away  football kits made by Umbro.

Universitario's colours are cream (crema in Spanish), red, burgundy (guinda in Spanish), and black. When playing a home game they use the cream-colored kit with black socks and when playing away they use the burgundy-colored kit with black socks.

The club's colours at first were not cream. They started out with a white kit which had the badge on the chest. During one of their early seasons, Universitario could not participate in an upcoming match because their uniforms had been sent to the laundry to be washed. The managers pleaded that they hurry with the laundry and they quickly washed them. However, when the club received the jerseys, they found that they were no longer white, but cream.

Jubilo Iwata 2010 home puma kit

Júbilo Iwata unveiled the new 2010 Home football kit made by Puma.

The team started out as the company team for Yamaha Motor Corporation in 1970. After making its way through the Shizuoka and Tōkai football leagues, it played in the Japan Soccer League until it reorganized as the J. League at the end of 1992.

Júbilo means 'exultation' in Portuguese and Spanish.
