Puma have released the third generation of the v-Konstrukt football boot, the v-Konstrukt III.

Incorporating a fresh, new design and in a gold, white and black colourway, the v-Konstrukt III should certainly stand out on the pitch and Puma insist that the high technical spec will provide the comfort and protection required for ultimate game performance.

Comfort is plus point being touted by Puma. The v-Konstrukt III football boot features premium full grain, supersoft leather and the Puma Aptolast which Puma say provides a glove like fit allowing the upper to perfectly mould to the foot, maximising player energy.

Our friends over at footy-boots revealed the thinking behind Reebok’s new Valde Pro football boot and show you some of the technical background which the company has released exclusively to the Footy-boots website.

Reebok has come up with the Valde, a revolutionary football boot with market first technology. The Reebok Valde has a rigid Power Unit (a carbon fibre insert) in the outsole and additional upper technology.

By improving the rigidity of both the upper and the outsole of the football boots, so that they flex in one direction only, thus reducing the loss of power, the player should be able to strike the ball more cleanly and with a great deal more force.

This is the new Adidas F50.9 TUNIT football boot, the latest model in the successful line of Adidas F50 football boots. The F50.9 is the fourth generation of the F50 TUNIT concept and features both outstanding modularity and the innovative and transparent "AllesKlar" ("All Clear") element.

Top players around the globe have already started wearing the new F50.9 TUNiT football boot on the pitch and in training.

You’ve certainly got a lot of choice. The Andes mountains, Ladislao Biro – inventor of the ball point pen, gauchos, writer Jorge Luis Borges, the tango, Eva Peron, rugby player Hugo Porta and Maradona to name but a few.

However, in current football terms, if you were asked the same question, chances are many of you would plump for Lionel Messi.

We would too, which is handy seeing as we are giving you a chance to win a pair of signed Lionel Messi football boots.

We’ve got a pair of the Argentine international’s Adidas F50’s, signed by the young superstar and ready to go to a new home.
