Middlesbrough Futsal Club 2013 Erreà Home Kit Design Competition

design football competition

In case you haven't noticed, over the past few weeks our sister site DesignFootball.com has hosted a competition to design the new Home kit for Middlesbrough Futsal Club and the deadline for entries is now approaching.

Boro are one of the leading futsal teams in Europe with a history of signing and producing talented internationals.  Back in 2009 they came to DF to see if the members could produce a standout kit by way of a competition and the winning entry is the model currently worn by the side.

The current competition, however, has surpassed the original in both quality and quantity of entries and is now the most subscribed competition DF has ever hosted.  With the chance to travel to the Errea headquarters in Italy up for grabs, as well as the honour of seeing your kit turned into reality, it's really captured people's imaginations.  There are plenty of offerings that would do Boro proud but we may not yet have seen the winner.

So this is a last call to get your entry in. The competition closes on Sunday at 23:59 (UK time) and one lucky entrant will be claiming that trip to Italy very soon afterwards. Click here for more info

I hear Tony Mowbray also does a good range in kitchen towels. Middlesborough are slowly heading down the league.

    Middlesbrough or Chelsea?

Are any of you aware that BOTH clubs have had lions on their badge for a very long time? Change the lion blue, oh look they're trying to be Chelsea.

The Futsal team wear different kits, because they're bugger all to do with Middlesbrough Football Club.

If you don't want to vote, or even look at the pictures, why even click the link?

    I don't understand people sometimes.

My 5-a-side team you've never heard of needs a new kit, too. We'll probably just go for blue, because there are two Chelsea fans in the team, and they've got enough blue shirts for all of us. Cheers then, bye.

I don't think the polo collar works that well with the three stripes. And the diagonal stripe could be a bit more visible.

On the other hand, this is far better than most shirts and fantasy shirts I usually see. Would be fun to try the diagonal stripe in blue, as in the logo

More good work from you steevo, Madrid always looks a lot better when they have a purple trim in my eyes and more unique than the all white or black trim on a white kit. The overall design is great too.

Only thing I don't like is the stripe on the shorts as it doesn't continue well onto the back of them.
