Derby County announced a new kit deal with Umbro.

The Rams will once again wear the famous double diamond of Umbro from the start 2014/15 season as part of a four-year technical kit partnership.

Umbro will produce all on-pitch and training products for Derby’s management staff and squad as well as sportswear for the Rams’ fans, management staff and players.

Derby enjoyed the greatest era in their history wearing Umbro kits, winning league titles in 1972 and 1975 as well as reaching the semi-final of the European Cup in 1973.

Derby will reveal their brand new home, away and third kits for the upcoming Sky Bet Championship 2014/15 season in the near future.

The new kits will also bear the logo of JUST EAT after the world's leading online takeaway ordering service was revealed as Derby’s new main shirt sponsor.

"Umbro are a leading global sports brand and here at Derby County we are delighted to be associated with them once again,” said Derby County’s President & Chief Executive Sam Rush.

“They are a brand that was synonymous with Club in the 1970s and the timing of the partnership is particularly poignant, as this season is 40 years since the Club embarked on their second Championship-winning League campaign.

“We have worked closely with Umbro to provide supporters with a new kit and exciting product range, which will be revealed in the very near future.”

Paul Nugent, VP of Global Marketing for Umbro, commented: “As one of the founding members of the Football League, Derby’s football heritage is unquestionable.

“We are celebrating 90 years in football so it’s great to welcome the Rams back into the Umbro family as they look for promotion to the Premier League.

“Derby has everything in place to return to the top flight – a youthful squad, a first class stadium as well as a loyal and passionate set of fans – so we are excited about the season ahead.”

Derby County’s home kit will be on sale in July and will be available in Adult, Junior, Infant and Baby sizes.

Great news for Derby. Umbro are by far the best football kit manufacturer. One of the only ones that give individual templates, which clubs should get.
