Watford FC announced that it has reached agreement with Kelme to be the club’s technical partner for four years from the beginning of the 2020/21 season.

This agreement is the largest in the club’s history and enables us to benefit from Kelme’s flexibility and bespoke design process.

Kelme will produce the club’s kits and trainingwear for the men’s and ladies’ first-team squads and all Academy levels, as well as being responsible for an exciting range of technical products that will be featured in the Hornets’ retail stores.

Kelme, founded in Spain in 1960, has a track record of working with some of the biggest names in sport and has provided the kits for over 30 La Liga teams, among many others in different international leagues.

Watford FC is proud that Kelme has chosen the Hornets as the first English club to wear its mark in the brand’s history and to play a key role in Kelme’s journey to become one of the biggest brands in world football by 2025.

Throughout the partnership Watford FC will benefit from Kelme’s industry-leading technology and distribution network. The Hornets’ kits will be available in up to 180 Kelme-branded stores in China and Spain, as well as via the club’s own retail outlets and online shop.

With teamwear, footwear, casual, women’s and children’s ranges, Kelme is a true global design brand.

Scott Duxbury, Chairman and CEO of Watford FC, said: “We are delighted to partner with Kelme, and to be the first British club to wear its kits.

“Already famous across Europe, South America and Asia, we are excited that our players and fans will benefit from the quality and distinctiveness of their products.”

Carlos Garcia Cobaleda, Global Marketing and Sponsoring Director of Kelme, said: “There could not be a better way to achieve our first milestone in the world famous Premier League than partnering with the Hornets.

“We will develop our global capacities to make this wonderful team and their loyal fans benefit from our outstanding total look official club collection, as well as providing huge exposure thanks to our significant presence in Asia, where Watford FC will be one of our main assets.”
