Aston Villa Club Crest Vote

Earlier this year Aston Villa announced their intention to begin the process of redesigning the current club crest, alongside a wider visual identity review.

Today, ahead of the weekend of football, they are launching a vote for season ticket holders and members to consider the options and then cast their vote on your preferred crest.

Since the initial announcement the club have been through an extensive period of consultation with a wide range of fans, which included hearing the views of over 12,600 supporters who took part in a digital survey, as well as gathering valuable insights through multiple in-person focus groups, including the FCG, randomly selected fans of various ages from those who initially registered their interest and international supporters.

Following an expansive creative process and the conclusion of the fan consultation period, they are now able to present two newly designed crest options.

Both are nice, but I think the left one gets the nudge just because there are so many round badges.

Crest on the left reminds me of the Dutch national team

Left example is an evolution of the current badge and is better than the rather anonymous round one.

I'd go with the round one, it looks cleaner, less cluttered and never really looks out of place. Look at the monstrosity on Man U's kit it just doesn't seem to blend well. The round looks better and the Claret and Blue jumps out at you more and besides that, the one on the left looks to much like the current one
