Olympique de Marseille New Crest

Olympique Marseille New Crest

Olympique de Marseille have introduced a new club crest and visual identity, officially presented on 8 April 2026 during a gala event linked to the club’s Treizième Homme foundation at Fort Ganteaume.

The updated Olympique de Marseille crest forms part of a wider identity refresh developed internally, combining historical references with a contemporary graphic structure.

The new Olympique de Marseille logo is built around a circular badge featuring a refined “OM” monogram. Its construction draws from multiple periods in the club’s visual history, including the white ring associated with the 1973 emblem, the core “M” structure linked to early club identity from 1899, and curved line elements referencing later iterations such as the 1986 and 1993 designs. The double-ring format is retained, providing continuity with previous Marseille badges.

A newly defined “Bleu Marseille” colour is used across the crest, developed from a combination of traditional club blues and tones associated with the city, including coastal and urban references. The typography has also been updated, drawing on archival sources alongside influences connected to Marseille’s local culture.

Design FC

The new crest has been designed for flexible application across match kits, training wear and broader club communications. Two primary versions are in use, with the star and the “Droit au But” motto appearing in sporting contexts, while simplified variations are applied across digital and institutional platforms. The Olympique de Marseille crest will feature across future Marseille football shirts and official branding as part of the club’s updated identity.
