Adidas have released the F50 Salah FG football boots, a special edition release created to honour Mohamed Salah and his ongoing impact on the modern game. The adidas boots are set to be worn during AFCON and form part of adidas Football’s continued focus on player led signature products.
Built on the latest F50 platform, the Salah edition FG boots are designed for use on firm ground surfaces and feature a lightweight synthetic upper engineered for speed and responsiveness. The silhouette retains the low cut profile associated with the F50 range, paired with a streamlined fit intended to support quick directional changes and acceleration.
The Cloud White, Thermal Gold Met. and Golden Beige colourway references Salah’s Egyptian heritage through subtle graphic detailing inspired by ancient hieroglyphs. These sand toned markings are applied across a white base and extend throughout the upper, creating a textured visual effect that reflects cultural symbolism rather than overt branding. Metallic gold elements are used across the Three Stripes on the lateral side, while matching gold accents appear on the F50 branding. Additional F50 detailing is positioned on the forefoot, with further gold touches visible on the tongue area.
Underfoot, the firm ground outsole features a translucent finish with an iridescent effect, housing a stud configuration developed to enhance traction and stability on natural grass pitches. The soleplate is engineered to balance speed driven movement with controlled grip during high intensity play.
