These are the new Mizuno Wave Ignitus Japan FG football boots in Cyber Yellow/Black, a limited-numbers remake of the ultimate shooting boot.
Decked out in the series’ iconic European launch colourway, the Mizuno Wave Ignitus Japan FG is based on the most technologically advanced version of the power-focused silo, the Wave Ignitus 4.
For the uninitiated, the silo was originally developed with input from Keisuke Honda and his rocket-like left foot – freekick specialists swear by its ball-striking potential to this day.
The remake features the recognisable “non-spin” Bio Control Panel on the medial side that reduces ball rotation for deadly accuracy, while the combination K-leather and synthetic upper gives the perfect blend of comfort and control.
