It's like, how much more black could these boots be and the answer is none, none more black. 8) (Apart from the Nike stripes and the coloured detail on the studs/soles that is ;-) )

Large corporations work with some of the top psychologists. The way they market products is to go very modern and vibrant for a few years and people will start wanting something that is a little bit less and more like the "old days" so they bring stuff out which reminds the consumer of a few years back = instant hit. Then after a couple of years of "retro" the consumer will be bored of this, hence back to the modern and fresh looks on kit. It is all just a big circle really.

So BLACK boots are the big news eh?My, marketing people are such idiots... and the public buying it as some sort of great novelty idea even more...Come on Umbro, be quick and put out an "all black" version of your "all whites". At least that would be slightly more "new" than this. Or even "more old", to be precise, since boots never had logos in the old days. Two things which often correspond when it comes to trends and fashions.
