Adidas has released a special UEFA Champions League 25th Anniversary ball, marking 25 years as the official match ball supplier for Europe’s premier club competition. The commemorative 3rd release forms part of the Champions League 25/26 cycle and will be used during the closing matchdays of the League Phase as well as the Knockout Round Play offs.
The Champions League ball features a white base combined with metallic silver panels, directly referencing the first adidas UEFA Champions League match ball introduced for the 2000/01 season. The familiar star panel structure remains central to the design, with updated surface texturing applied across each panel.
Adidas branding appears prominently across the ball alongside official UEFA Champions League markings. A dedicated 25 YEARS emblem is integrated into the star panels, acknowledging adidas’ long standing technical partnership with the competition. Additional graphic detailing includes subtle star motifs and fine line elements that run through the metallic sections.
The adidas ball is produced in multiple sizes, including professional match and replica versions, and carries official competition certification. Panel bonding and surface construction follow current adidas performance standards, ensuring consistency across elite level fixtures and retail releases.
