Mitre has unveiled the official match ball for the 2025/26 Emirates FA Cup season, coinciding with the start of the first-round proper.
The new Ultimax Pro model introduces an updated design and construction, developed for top-level performance across all stages of the competition. The ball uses Mitre’s Hyperflow technology, enhancing consistency, responsiveness, and flight stability.
Visually, the 2025/26 edition draws inspiration from the Emirates FA Cup trophy itself. The intricate patterns seen on the silverware’s surface are reinterpreted as floral engravings across the blue and white panels, symbolising the heritage of the competition. Prominent red Delta chevrons dominate the upper surface, echoing Mitre’s signature identity, with the Emirates FA Cup logo placed below the brand mark.
This updated iteration of the Ultimax Pro continues Mitre’s long-standing connection with English football, combining advanced performance engineering with the historic character of the world’s oldest domestic cup competition.
