AFC Wimbledon could run out next season in a kit designed by you! AFC Wimbledon are pleased to launch the 2012/2014 Design the Dons Kit competition which can make that a reality - the team wearing a kit of your design. If that wasn’t enough, your prize will include your very own full replica kits.
The rules are simple:
1. The home kit must be primarily blue. However there is no restriction for the away kit. Remember you must avoid using another blue or the third kit colour - burgundy - or another shade of red.
2. The home kit must use the SI logo. The away kit must use the Football Manager logo. Both kits must use the Tempest logo.
3. Your design should include shorts and socks.
4. Remember that for production reasons, alterations may be made to your design.
You can enter a home kit, an away kit or both and enter as many designs as you wish. The competition is open to anyone. Don’t worry if you are not technically minded. They will accept paper-based designs in any format - from computer drawings to hand-coloured originals.
All designs must be received by 5.00pm on Saturday 18th February 2012 - the day of the home match with Morecambe.
The judging panel will consider all designs and entries will then be reduced to a short-list of five home and five away kit designs. These ten designs will be displayed at the stadium before the matches against Plymouth Argyle and Dagenham & Redbridge and will also appear on the club’s official website.
Supporters will then be able to vote for their favourite designs at those two matches or by using an online entry form.
The winning kit will be announced after the Burton Albion match on Saturday 24th March during the Man of the Match presentation. The designers of all the short-listed kits will each win a 2012/2014 shirt of their choice. The winning designers will win both replica kits.
