Many football kit fans will be familiar with Emre Gultekin’s gorgeous club and international team histories and this Real Madrid retrospective is another success.
The sportswear designer - currently blessing the Puma group with his substantial talent - has captured Real’s identity and really demonstrates the dedication to tradition that runs through the Spanish La Liga giants’ sartorial timeline.
Truly, the classic white first-choice (“Home”) outfit has rarely deviated beyond a sash or a black pair of shorts and/or socks, and blue or a purple tone is seemingly never far away with the change versions - even if there has been the occasional use of the likes of green, pink, orange and red, as well as grey and black.

Emre’s take on the collection - which takes in manufacturers such as Hummel, Kelme and, of course, adidas - is as pleasing as it is comprehensive, with even the German supplier’s current-season wardrobe included for contemporaneity.
