adidas Originals have revived the Italia 70s, bringing the silhouette back in a size? exclusive collection linked to Italian football culture and history.
The series takes inspiration from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian sports newspaper first published in the 19th century. This influence is seen in the bespoke details of the trainers, which include papery black and white printed insoles and small Italian flags on the sidewalls.
The first drop introduces two colourways. One reflects the signature pink shade of the newspaper, while the other connects to the heritage of AC Milan with a red design. Both pairs are built from premium leather with reinforced suede toe bumpers. Gold foil Trefoil branding appears on the tongue, complemented by black 3-Stripes across the side.
Each shoe sits on an EVA cushioned midsole for lightweight comfort, with rubber outsoles for durability. The overall finish retains the classic 1970s look of the original model while updating the build with modern touches. This Italia 70s pack marks the beginning of a wider series of exclusive adidas releases, celebrating the legacy of Italian football and design through reimagined footwear classics.
