Football kit retailer Classic Football Shirts have unveiled this “Deerby” Christmas jumper.
The addition to “CFS”’s new 2024 range references the Puma Derby County Home shirt worn in the 1996-97 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, in which one Paulo Wanchope starred.
Indeed, the modernised-and-festively-seasoned creation boasts the Costa Rican’s name and number 26 on the reverse, with the German manufacturer’s branding replaced with [rein]deers, the word “deer” and Christmas lights - the end product being a white-and-black number that evokes both the Rams and the season to be jolly.
