Based on the Chelsea Football Club (FC) centenary Home shirt from the Premier League title-winning 2005-06 season, this is Classic Football Shirts’ new “Snowman” Christmas jumper.
This blue example from the Manchester-based football kit retailer’s 2024 range is decorated primarily with yellow - to nod to the inspirational article’s gold trim - and carries club legend striker Didier Drogba’s name and number 15 on the reverse.
The said decoration nods to the festive period, with the Umbro branding on the chest replaced with a star, the “SAMSUNG mobile” [sic] sponsor making way for “SNOWMAN frosty” [sic, again], a snowman unsurprisingly being incorporated into the crest and an outline of Drogba’s iconic arms-out celebration the focal point lower down.
