Classic Football Shirts have unveiled this “McCoist Tartan” Scotland-flavoured Christmas jumper.
Nodding to the Umbro Home shirt in which Ally McCoist et al took on the Netherlands, England and Switzerland at the “Euro 96” European Championship - with the Rangers legend scoring his country’s only goal in the tournament - the look of that iconic design is depicted with the assistance of festive imagery.
McCoist’s name and number 9 are present and correct on the rear of the jumper, with the 9 also on the front to mark the 1996 Euros being the first in which front numbers were required, and a leaping reindeer takes the place of the lion rampant in the crest position.
