German sportswear giants adidas have unveiled this 2025 “Terrace Icons Jersey” for their compatriot client Fußball-Club (FC) Bayern München (Munich).
The new “Street Wear” [sic] item suggests 1980s football shirts with its thin ghost striping to the “Shadow Red” base and inclusion of the famous Trefoil logo, while white stripes (trimmed with a brighter red) run from the neck down to the bottom of the sleeve and there is a full-colour version of the Bayern crest on the chest.
The Bundesliga giants’ fans may be attracted to the article due to it evoking supporter culture from days gone by.
