Aston Villa have unveiled a new headwear collaboration with New Era, featuring a range of licensed club headwear styles.
The agreement brings together New Era’s long established expertise in headwear production with Aston Villa’s heritage, which dates back to the club’s formation in 1874. The collection launches with a core range built around New Era’s recognised silhouettes, including the adjustable 9FORTY, the unstructured 9TWENTY, classic TRUCKER caps, and a selection of knit beanies. These styles are presented primarily in Aston Villa’s traditional claret and blue colours.
Alongside the core range, the collection also introduces additional seasonal options across New Era’s standard silhouettes. These include tonal variations and designs linked to the club’s home, away and third kit colour schemes, as well as dedicated womenswear pieces, extending the range beyond matchday headwear.
At the centre of the release is a special edition 59FIFTY fitted cap. This design features the original Aston Villa crest from 1880 embroidered in white on a black crown and visor. Claret detailing appears on the under visor, referencing the club’s long standing visual identity. Additional embroidered text reading Under a Gas Lamp, 21st November 1874 appears on the side panel, referencing the club’s founding location and date, while further gas lamp detailing and the founding year are positioned at the rear.
