1924-founded Umbro are celebrating their 100th birthday in 2024 and this anniversary-celebrating release has been unveiled as part of a collaboration with South Korea fashion house Over The Pitch.
The creation is, in effect, and fittingly, a recreation of the Chelsea 2005-06-season centenary Home shirt, with the blue base embellished with golden trim and a crest styled with the Blues’ identity in mind.
The sponsor-style branding apes the look of the “SAMSUNG mobile” [sic] wordmark of two decades ago and Frank Lampard’s number 8 adorns the reverse.
