Aberdeen FC have unveiled their new 23/24 home kit, coinciding with their celebration of 120 years of AFC.
The kit showcases a gold trim, paying homage to the black and gold jerseys that adorned the team during its early years, while retaining the club's iconic red base colour.
During their inaugural 1903-1904 season following the merger of Aberdeen, Victoria United, and Orion, The Dons initially sported white and navy blue. However, from 1904 onwards, they adopted the black and gold attire, earning the nickname "the wasps" during this era. It was only in 1939 that the team transitioned to the now-famous red and white jerseys that have become synonymous with Aberdeen FC.
