Aberdeen Football Club and Macron have unveiled the Aberdeen 26/27 Third kit for the 2026–27 Scottish Premiership season.
Aberdeen Kit Design & Inspiration
With the strip taking its colours from Craigievar Castle in Aberdeenshire during the landmark’s 400th anniversary year, the new Aberdeen jersey uses a pale pink base inspired by the castle’s distinctive exterior, combined with anthracite grey detailing.
A tonal geometric pattern runs throughout the jersey and is formed directly within Macron’s new Eco 3D Knit-Weave jacquard fabric, giving the surface a textured, three-dimensional appearance.
Anthracite panels extend along the sides and under the sleeves, with the same shade used around the V-neck and sleeve cuffs. Fine silver trim provides an additional contrast around the neckline and cuffs. The Macron Hero and Aberdeen crest are presented in anthracite on opposite sides of the chest, with two stars positioned above the club badge and TEXO appearing centrally as the main shirt sponsor.
A stylised illustration of Craigievar Castle is placed inside the rear collar, continuing the connection with the Aberdeenshire landmark. Inside the lower hem, red tape carries the city’s historic Bon Accord motto: “Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again.”
Technical Features
The shirt uses Macron’s Eco 3D Knit Matrix, a technical jacquard fabric produced from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. Its three-dimensional construction supports breathability, durability and natural mechanical stretch, with the woven surface adding texture across the jersey.
