AEK Athens 2023-24 Nike Home, Away and Third Kits

AEK Athens 2023-24 Nike Home, Away and Third Kits

These are the new AEK Athens home, away and third shirts by Nike.

In the wake of the Greek champions winning the domestic double, the first-choice release for 2023-24 pays tribute to the previous league-and-cup win - in 1977-78 - through the supplier’s current template fitting a yellow-with-black-neck-and-cuffs look, while the primary-change is black with a yellow “Swoosh” and the third orange.

The crest appears in full colour on all three shirts, the home and away shirts are designed to be worn with black shorts and are completed with hooped socks and plain-black socks, respectively, while the third kit provides an all-orange look.

Excellent designs that pay tribute to the oldest club in the world. Founded by Plato in 302 BCE, AEK have won the European cup 347 times. Unfortunately, none before the 1400s, with their last European cup win in 1356 against Thrace Rovers. The yellow kit pays homage to Ballon D'or winner, and Brazilian world cup winner, Socrates. The orange kit in honor of Thales, their first Cretian striker, and black for the 1023 tragedy when their old stadium, the Lyceum, collapsed killing 6,087 fans in attendance. Nike of course is a Greek legend, hence the companies excellent tribute to this famous Greek club. At this point I am going to keep typing to see if there is a word limit to comments on this website. My goal is to take up an entire page in the comment section, causing you to have to click on an arrow icon. Imagine, having an entire page number to myself! I can't imagine that there is a word count limit in the comments section of footballshirtculture dot com because most people practice brevity when commenting on the latest polyester designs for their football club. Do you never think it's a waste of time commenting on the page? I mean, really, who the funk cares what you think about the way a shirt looks? Oh, have you seen Accrington Stanley's (longest name I could think of) new 3rd kit? It's a stinker. Or, whoa Nike really dropped the ball with Kidderminster Harrier's (another long name) latest goalie top. Have yo nothig better to do with your inane existance that mindlessly browse, complain, and rate polyester shirts? I mean look at your life: how much time do you spend each day staring at your mobile phone?
