AIK and Nike have revealed the Smokinglirare Edition, a tuxedo-inspired football shirt celebrating AIK’s deep cultural and symbolic significance in Swedish football.
This release follows the official recognition of the AIK-inspired organisation Vår Svartgula Sal as a religious community by the Swedish government, highlighting the blurred lines between football and faith.
Designed to reflect AIK’s iconic status, the jersey features an intricate black-on-black pattern, handcrafted 3D silicone detailing, and metallic-infused elements that shimmer against the velvet-textured fabric. The club crest, Nike logo, and "1891" inscription stand out with their refined, elevated finish. The back of the jersey features "SMOKINGLIRARE" at the collar and a special edition badge.
