AFC Ajax and adidas have unveiled the Ajax 26/27 Third kit, introducing a light blue change strip with dark blue detailing for the upcoming 2026-27 Eredivisie season.
Ajax Kit Design & Inspiration
The colour combination references several previous Ajax kits worn during successful periods in the club’s history, including campaigns in the 1980s, 2002/03 and 2011/12.
The new Ajax jersey features a pale blue base combined with an abstract tonal graphic pattern running across the front, back and sleeves. Dark blue trim appears on the crew neck collar, sleeve cuffs, adidas shoulder stripes and sponsor applications. The adidas logo and Ajax crest are both rendered in matching dark blue, with three championship stars positioned above the badge.
Ziggo appears as the shirt sponsor on the front, while Team Rockstars IT sponsorship is positioned on the sleeve. On the reverse, player names and numbers are presented in dark blue, while three small crosses are positioned beneath the back collar in reference to the symbols associated with the city of Amsterdam.
The 2026/27 campaign also introduces separate championship star totals for the Ajax men’s and women’s sides, with one star displayed for every 10 league titles won.
Full Ajax Third Kit details
Ajax’s new football shirt is completed with matching light blue shorts and socks, while dark blue alternatives are also available for team use. The kit will be worn by both the Ajax men’s and women’s teams during the 2026/27 football season.
