This América de Cali shirt from Le Coq Sportif is a throwback to the version worn the first time América became champions of Colombia, in 1979.
The celebratory red design is embellished with a white collar and white cuffs, while the French brand’s logo is in monochrome and there is a red-on-red tonal crest on the opposite side of the chest.
Most prominently, the legend “América”, complete with star above the “a”, is emblazoned in white across the midriff and the top of the upper back features a commemorative “79” detail.
