Adidas have released the Aston Villa FC Originals Jersey, a long-sleeved lifestyle shirt drawing on the club’s traditional claret and blue colour palette and adidas Originals styling.
The new Aston Villa jersey uses a Maroon base across the front and back, combined with contrasting sky blue sleeves. An engineered tonal pattern runs throughout the fabric, incorporating repeated adidas Trefoil-inspired graphics arranged diagonally across the body and sleeves.
Gold detailing is used for the adidas Trefoil on the right chest and Aston Villa’s lion emblem on the opposite side, complete with a star positioned above. Fine gold piping separates the claret body from the sky blue sleeves.
Three claret adidas stripes extend from the shoulders down each sleeve against the sky blue background. The left sleeve also carries a gold Villans script detail. A claret ribbed crew neck continues the main body colour, with matching claret cuffs finished with narrow sky blue and gold bands.
Unlike Aston Villa’s match shirts, the adidas Originals football jersey carries no front sponsor and features a regular fit with an engineered knit construction designed for everyday wear rather than match performance.
The release forms part of the adidas Originals x Aston Villa football-inspired apparel range, which also includes a coordinated hoodie, track top and track pants using the club’s claret, sky blue and black colour palette.
