Austin FC have unveiled "the Armadillo Kit," the new secondary jersey for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, celebrating Austin's renowned live music scene.
This kit is a tribute to the Armadillo World Headquarters (AWHQ), a legendary music venue that thrived between 1970 and 1980, playing a pivotal role in establishing Austin's identity as "The Live Music Capital of the World." The venue, once located at 525 ½ Barton Springs Road, is remembered for fostering Austin's eclectic and welcoming culture.
The design integrates a fresh shade of Verde on a cream base, adorned with an armadillo motif on the jock tag and the AWHQ's historic address on the neckline's back.

Additionally, the jersey incorporates intertwining oaks from the club's crest, emphasising oak imagery in a manner not previously featured on an Austin FC jersey. Completing the look, the kit sports the YETI brand, a significant local sponsor with close ties to the club and Austin's music heritage, positioned near the former site of AWHQ, along with sleeve sponsor Netspend.
