Nike and Football Australia have revealed the 2025 Australia National Team Away kit, designed by Kamilaroi artist Reko Rennie.
For the first time, a First Nations artist has contributed to an Australian national football kit, incorporating Indigenous storytelling with the ‘Forever Forging Forward’ philosophy of progress and unity. The design showcases patterns inspired by traditional message sticks, historically used to share stories and strengthen connections.
The Night Forest Away kit features a variation of the pattern on the side panels of both the jersey and shorts, enhanced with Reko Rennie’s signature pink as a modern interpretation of ochre in First Nations art. The Aboriginal Flag is placed inside the away jersey for the first time, with the kit completed by matching Night Forest shorts and socks.
