F.C. Barcelona have unveiled their new home kit for the 2023-24 season, paying tribute to the journey of the Women's squad within the club.

The kit features a crest that symbolises the pioneering spirit of the women who played a historic game at the Camp Nou in 1970, setting an example and paving the way for future generations. The crest has a hidden diamond shape that was historically used by the Women's team, and the classic stripes have a diamond pattern along the edges.

The jersey showcases the logos of main partners Spotify and Nike on the front, with Ambilight TV and Bimbo brands appearing on the sleeves of the men's and women's first team jerseys respectively. The UNHCR/ACNUR logo will also be displayed below the number on the back.

Good. Better without the yellow bits, and ****** narrow stripes. Bit of a throwback to the 70s IMO.

It's better than last years abomination that's for sure but the fact that the red stripes don't go all the way up leaving a massive patch of blue is really triggering me, reminds me of Crystal Palace's kit from 2020/21 but better

Not the best kit. But the most Barcelona like Barcelona shirt for years.

So have to give it more as it looks like a Barca shirt, Nike need putting in the bin though.

The fact this bad kit is seen as an improvement over the last years says it all really. Barcelona sports beautiful colours and its stripes are iconic. Nike spoils it all with plain sleeves and those awful oversized shoulders. A contrasting collar could have salvaged it a bit. Overall, the impression is of a cheap training kit and not even the (welcomed) stripes on the back can save it.

They shouldn't have cut the stripes off at the top. But this is Nike trying not to 'completely' go back to tradition. Hopefully that is the way it's heading. Nike did some cracking Barca kits in the 00s.
