This is the 2023 “Camiseta Octubrina” (October shirt) for Ecuadorian side Barcelona Sporting Club (BSC).
Produced by Marathon, the design celebrates the 203rd anniversary of the side’s home city of Guayaquil becoming independent of Spanish rule - on 9th October 1820 - with an array of images that will be familiar to residents and the fanbase.
In grey with yellow confetti stylings and cuffs, the shirt’s neck nods to the city flag and the back includes a special seal to mark the occasion.
