This is the new Bayer 04 Leverkusen Away shirt by Castore.
Boasting a base pattern in black and white - marketed as nodding to the fans’ sea of flags but reminiscent of Manchester United’s “dazzle pattern” design of 2020-21 - the 2022-23 season primary-change release keeps most embellishment, including detail on the monochrome crest, to white.
Red does appear on the neck and cuffs, but the partner print and the “WERKSELF” detail on the upper back are in the said maximum contrast.
