Blackburn Rovers 26/27 Umbro Home Kit

Blackburn Rovers have unveiled their 26/27 Home kit, beginning a fourth spell with Umbro. The sportswear brand previously supplied Rovers from 1974-75 to 1980-81, 2007-08 to 2012-13 and 2016-17 to 2020-21.

Blackburn Rovers Kit Design

The new Blackburn Rovers jersey retains the club’s traditional blue and white halved design across both the front and back. The split colour arrangement extends to the sleeves, with one presented in blue and the other in white.

A white fold-over collar includes narrow red piping around the outer edge, with additional red trim applied to the white sleeve cuffs. The full-colour Blackburn Rovers crest is embroidered on the left chest, opposite a red Umbro Double Diamond logo. Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors appears across the front as the main shirt sponsor, also presented in red.

Positioned beneath the rear collar is the inscription “By Skill and Hard Work”, the English translation of the club motto, “Arte et Labore”. The phrase connects the kit with the town’s industrial heritage and the generations of workers associated with its mills.

Nice and simple, I also dig the slightly lighter shade of the blue swatch. Umbro have been far superior to the likes of Nike and Macron recently.
