SSE Airtricity League (of Ireland) Premier Division side Bohemian Football Club - Bohemians/Bohs - have unveiled their 2024 Away shirt.
The new O’Neills release is in off-white/ecru/beige/cream with purple embellishment and pays tribute to the famous 1977 performance by iconic Irish band Thin Lizzy at Bohemians’ Dalymount Park ground - part of Dublin’s first major open-air rock festival - with said band’s branding replacing the wordmark of sponsor Des Kelly Interiors.
As well as a quote from “The Boys Are Back in Town” on the upper back - “fRIday nIGht[,] thEy'LL BE dREssEd to kILL” [sic] - the shirt also includes Jim Fitzpatrick’s flower design from the Black Rose: A Rock Legend album cover art, the release will be combined with complementing shorts and socks when required to form a kit, and 10% of proceeds from the shirt’s sales will be used to help bring music to disadvantaged and socially isolated children alongside Music Generation Dublin City.
