Bologna FC 1909 and Macron have unveiled the Bologna 26/27 Home Kit, with the new Rossoblù shirt referencing the 100th anniversary of the club’s stadium.
Bologna Kit Design & Inspiration
Inspiration comes from the Torre di Maratona, the landmark tower at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. Designed by Giulio Ulisse Arata and inaugurated in 1927, when the stadium was known as Stadio Littoriale, the tower has become one of the ground’s most recognisable architectural features.
The new Bologna jersey uses the club’s traditional red and blue colours in a 5-stripe layout, with a blue central stripe and alternating red and navy panels across the front and back. The stripes are separated by a repeated graphic based on the Torre di Maratona, linking the shirt directly to Bologna’s home stadium and its history.
The shirt features a navy fold-over collar with red trim, raglan sleeves and red piping across the shoulder line. The sleeves include an embossed tonal pattern incorporating the club crest, the Torre di Maratona and related graphic elements. The knitted cuffs include a tone-on-tone arch motif referencing the porticoes near the stadium, with red edging used at the sleeve ends.
A silicone Macron Hero appears on the right chest, with the Bologna FC 1909 crest on the left. The front sponsor is placed centrally in white, while the back carries additional sponsor branding above the lower hem. The outer back neck includes a small red Torre di Maratona detail.
Technical Features
Constructed from Macron Eco Softlock, the jersey uses a technical match fabric designed to combine a lightweight feel with durability and a soft surface finish.
The material is part of Macron’s Eco Fabric range and is made from polyester sourced entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic. The use of recycled fibres continues the brand’s approach to producing technical teamwear with a reduced environmental impact.
Full Bologna Home Kit details
The new Bologna football shirt is paired with white shorts and navy socks featuring red detailing to form the full home strip for the 2026–27 Serie A season.
