This is the new Borussia Dortmund Away shirt from Puma.
The 2022-23 design from the German Bundesliga side’s compatriots is, in terms of the general look, black with minimal yellow embellishment.
However, half of the shirt front - including the right sleeve - is taken up with a stylised-chequerboard pattern formed by the black combining with grey. This is intended to represent the flags of the BVB faithful being waved on matchdays.
Yellow details include the club-specific features - the crest and the “DORTMUND” print on the upper back - and the Puma logos, while the main sponsor branding, perhaps disappointingly, adds white, and the kit can be completed with yellow or black sets of shorts and socks.
