Borussia Dortmund and Puma have unveiled their 26/27 Third kit, introducing a purple strip for the club’s 2026-27 season.
Borussia Dortmund Kit Design
The new Borussia Dortmund jersey uses a Purple Glimmer base with a subtle woven pinstripe texture extending across the front, sleeves and back. Neon yellow (Yellow Alert) is applied to the V-neck, Puma branding and club crest, retaining a connection with BVB’s traditional colours.
Black and neon yellow bands finish the sleeve cuffs. The Puma logo is positioned on the right side of the chest, opposite the Borussia Dortmund crest and two championship stars. Vodafone appears across the centre as the principal shirt sponsor, with Polestar branding added to the sleeve.
The back of the Borussia Dortmund Third shirt remains predominantly purple. “DORTMUND” is printed in neon yellow across the upper section, with the club motto “BORUSSIA VERBINDET” placed beneath the rear collar. The phrase translates as “Borussia connects”.
Technical Features
Built for elite performance, the authentic version uses PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric and features a streamlined athletic fit.
The replica version utilises Puma dryCELL technology to aid breathability and moisture management. The shirt is produced using 100% recycled material, excluding trims and decorative elements.
Full Borussia Dortmund 3rd Kit details
Matching purple shorts accompany the new Dortmund football shirt, featuring the club crest and Puma logo in neon yellow on opposite legs. Purple socks complete the full Borussia Dortmund 26/27 3rd kit, featuring broad neon yellow bands, BVB 09 lettering and Puma branding around the lower leg.
The kit was presented during Dortmund’s Evonik Japan Tour and will be worn throughout the club’s 2026–27 Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League campaigns.
